Two to three weeks ago, I had a rib fillet with caramelised onions, field mushrooms and semi roasted tomatoes that was absolutely sensational. Again last night we returned a little hesitantly to see if the great meal could be repeated. Yes!! Our steaks were cooked as requested to a med rare. And what a gorgeous slab of meat it was. Again, the mash with onions, mushrooms and tomatoes was everything that we had been wishing for. A side order of Fries with aioli nearly beat us but was so fresh, hot and tasty that we are considering going back again tonight.
